On the 24th of April Amnesty International Nigeria paid courtesy visits to Anti-Sexual Violence Lead Support Initiative Nigeria (ASVIOL) and the Dorothy Njemanze Foundation as part of our activities to mark the launch of our Annual Report.
The Amnesty International Annual Report titled The State of the World’s Human Rights: April 2024 documents human rights concerns in 2023 in 155 countries, connecting issues at global and regional levels and looking forward to the implications for the future.
This visit is part of Amnesty International Nigeria’s efforts to strengthen relations between us and our partners and publicise the annual report. We had an opportunity to discuss intersections between our work and theirs including ways in which we could collaborate. We also had the pleasure of touring their facilities and getting a crash course on their current projects.
